Hi,
I am a graduate of the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences back when it was known as the Swedish Institute of Massage. I have been a licensed New York State Massage Therapist since 1986. Through the years, I have had a private massage practice and worked as a massage therapist at various spas and facilities throughout New York City and the vicinity.
I was drawn to study massage therapy as an outgrowth of a compassionate mentality, my connection to the natural world, personal physical dexterity, tactility and agility, intuition, and a deeply innate mental awareness of the potential of the human spirit.
Wonderfully, nothing has changed since the beginning except that the clear crescendo of the notion that the original forces pulling me, as a very young adult, toward the choice to study the art and science of this healing modality were, personally, healthy and wise ones.
Practicing massage therapy continues to make me proud.
